Details:

Succinic anhydride,at room temperature, they are white orthoconic and biconic crystals. Slight pungent smell. Insoluble in water and ether, soluble in chloroform.
 
Application
1.It is used for organic synthesis, and is the raw material of alkyd resin, adhesive resin and anthraquinone dye for coating. It is used for the production of vitamin A and sulfonamide drugs in medicine.
2.Used in manufacturing medicine, plasticizer and adhesive, etc.
3.Succinic anhydride is the intermediate of fungicide sclerotinia and plant growth regulator butanohydrazide.
4.It is the raw material of paint, medicine, synthetic resin and dye. The coating produced by it has flexural resistance and water resistance, and it is used in medicine to produce vitamin A and sulfonamide drugs. Pesticide can be used in the production of fungicide, insecticide, plant growth regulator. Butylene Chemicalbook anhydride and its derivatives can be used as olefin polymerization catalyst, ester polymer condensation crosslinking agent, polymer light stabilizer, uv absorbent, and also as oil field additives.
