Penicillin has good antibacterial effect on hemolytic streptococcus, streptococcus pneumoniae and staphylococcus that does not produce penicillase. It has moderate antibacterial effect on enterococcus. Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Corynebacterium diphtheria, Bacillus anthracis, Bovine actinomycetes, Streptomyces candida, Listeria, leptospirosis and treponema pallidum are susceptible to this product.

It has good antibacterial effect on Clostridium, anaerobic bacteria of digestive streptococcus and Bacteroidetes melanin, but poor antibacterial effect on Bacteroidetes fragilis. Penicillin works by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls.
What is function of Potassium penicillin G
Penicillin potassium also known as bian penicillin, bian penicillin G potassium salt, this product is white crystalline powder, odor-free or slightly specific odor, hygrogenic. Soluble in water, normal saline, glucose solution. Aqueous solution is easy to fail when placed at room temperature.

Penicillin plays a bactericidal role by inhibiting the combination of tetrapeptide chain and pentapeptide crosslinking bridge in bacterial cell wall and blocking cell wall synthesis.
