Pharmacological effects of bromhexine hydrochloride: This product can directly act on bronchial glands, promote the release of lysosomes from mucus secreting cells, and differentiate and lyse mucopolysaccharide fibers in sputum; it can also inhibit the acidity of mucous glands and goblet cells.
