PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Tagatose, a new monosaccharide from natural sources, is a “differential isomer” of fructose. The sweetness of sucrose is 92% of the same amount. It is a good sweetener and filler for low energy food, and has a variety of physiological effects such as inhibiting hyperglycemia, improving intestinal flora, preventing dental caries, etc.
Tagose is derived from lactose by hydrolysis.The sweetness of tagsugar is 92% of that of sucrose, and the calories are only one third of that of sucrose.
