Fructus aurantii aurantii (FAI) extract is a product extracted from the dried young fruits of sour orange or sweet orange. The main ingredients are flavonoids, alkaloids, volatile oils, organic acids, vitamin A, B, C, P riboflavin, pectin and so on.

 

 

Hesperidin can be anti-oxidation and anti-cancer, anti-mildew, anti-allergy, lower blood pressure, inhibit oral cancer, esophageal cancer, maintain osmotic pressure, enhance capillary toughness, reduce cholesterol and other effects. Related studies have shown that hesperidin has a broad spectrum of antibacterial effects on common food contamination bacteria, and has significant inhibitory effects on Bacillus subtilis, Salmonella typhimurium, Shigella fredii, Streptococcus hemolyticus and Vibrio cholerae, so it is widely used in food additives and food processing.
