Iopamidol, also known as iodopeptidol, iodopentanol, iopamidol, iopamidol, iodobidol, iopamisone, is a non-ionic water-soluble contrast agent, which is a drug for imaging diagnosis. Its chemical structure is The amide compounds of triiodoisophthalic acid derivatives have low toxicity to blood vessel walls and nerves, good local and systemic tolerance, low osmotic pressure, low viscosity, good contrast, stable injection, and very little deiodination in vivo. Iopamidol is clinically used for various angiography, such as cerebral arteriography. Cardiovascular angiography includes coronary arteries, thoracic and abdominal arteries, peripheral arteries, veins, and digital subtraction angiography. 1. Patients with severe arteriosclerosis, hypertensive heart failure, systemic diseases and those who have recently had cerebral thrombosis or embolism have an increased probability of complications. For patients with iodine allergy, allergic constitution, hyperthyroidism, spontaneous functional thyroid nodules, high-risk patients, the elderly and children, mild to moderate liver and renal insufficiency, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, history of asthma, and bloody cerebrospinal fluid. and patients with homozygous sickle cell disease, with or suspected cadmium pheocytoma, dysglobulinemia, homocystinuria, general anesthesia, congestive heart failure due to hypertonicity, chronic cardiovascular angiography Emphysema patients.
4. It is forbidden to be used in combination with other drugs. Co-administration with thioridazine increases the risk of cardiotoxicity, and co-administration of iopamidol and metformin produces lactic acidosis and can lead to acute renal failure.
5. Adverse reactions: The side effects of iopamidol are directly related to the concentration, dosage and mode of administration, and its osmotic pressure, viscosity and administration speed can all affect the incidence and severity of side effects. Headaches are common, and are frequently exacerbated by intrathecal administration in dehydrated patients. Mild toxic episodes are rare. Can cause dehydration, especially in elderly patients, patients with ammoniaemia, or debilitating patients may experience shock.
