Both G+ bacteria and G- bacteria have good curative effect, but it is not suitable to fight against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Nor does it apply to carbapenem-resistant infections of other bacteria, such as some acinetobacter. Aminoglycosides (such as amikacin) should be combined if used against Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
