What's Lcariin？

Icariin is the main active ingredient of Epimedium, which is 8-prenyl flavonoid glycosides. It can be extracted from dried stems and leaves of Epimedium sagitta, Epimedium pilose, Epimedium Wushan, and Epimedium korean. It is light yellow needle crystal, soluble in ethanol and ethyl acetate, insoluble in ether, benzene and chloroform.
