What's Silymarin？

Light yellow powder or crystal, with special smell, easily soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, ethanol and methanol, insoluble in chloroform, almost insoluble in water, mainly contains a flavonoid complex called silymarin (C25H22O10). This substance is the main source of the plant's medicinal value. Silybin is the most active and is largely responsible for the properties silymarin has.
