It has a role as a sodium channel blocker, an anti-arrhythmia drug and a platelet aggregation inhibitor.|A derivative of procaine with less CNS action.|Procainamide is an Antiarrhythmic.|Procainamide is an oral antiarrhythmic agent that has been in use for more than 60 years.
