Description

Polydimethylsiloxane is a transparent, colorless, odorless, non-toxic, oily liquid. It has the characteristics of high flash point, low freezing point, good thermal stability, and high and low temperature resistance. It can be used at-50- - + 180℃, such as in isolated air or in inert gas for long-term use temperature up to 200℃. Small surface tension, large compression rate, good shear resistance, small viscosity temperature coefficient, small dielectric loss; electric solitary resistance, corona, nonflammable; water and moisture resistance, and good physiological inertia. In the silicone oil characteristics are the most prominent, the largest dosage, the most widely used.

Application:

It is mainly used in anoaming agent, cosmetics, medical additives, release agent, paint and ink, lubricating oil and other fields.

How to use

Can be used alone or with good solubility in anhydrous alcohol and in most commonly used solvents.

 Use instructions

 Silicone oil may cause a short period of eye discomfort.

 Special care should be taken to treat the volatile silicone oil at the flash point temperature provided.

 Keep away from heat sources, sparks, open fires, and other sources of fire. To keep the container sealed.

At higher temperatures, the organic silicone oil is sensitive to the pollution caused by strong acid, strong alkali, and some metal compounds and oxidants. Oxidant may also cause increased viscosity of silicone oil, and it is recommended to check the flash point of silicone oil regularly to monitor operational safety. In addition, there may be combustible conditions if the silicone oil smokes.

 Within a time limit and storage

 When stored unopened at 25℃ or less, the shelf life is 12 months from the date of production, depending on the viscosity.

Dimethyl silicone oil should be stored in ventilated and dry warehouses to prevent direct sunlight and to isolate fire sources.
