Sulfonamide is also known as p-aminobenzenesulfonamide, sulfonamide, p-anilinesulfonamide, and p-sulfonamideaniline. It is precipitated from ethanol aqueous solution as white leaf-shaped crystals or crystalline powder, odorless, slightly bitter at first and then sweet, and changes color when exposed to light.
