Superiority:
W/O emulsifier Span 40 is also known as sorbitan palmitate, which is a light yellow granular solid at room temperature. When the temperature is higher than the melting point, it is soluble in ethanol, ethyl acetate, toluene and petroleum ether, insoluble in cold water, and can be dispersed in hot water to form an emulsion solution. It belongs to W/O emulsifier.

Product characteristics Sorbitan palmitate (Span 40) has the characteristics of multiple traditional additives. In the acid copper plating process, it can replace any of the traditional wetting agent S24, leveling agent L26 and brightener A28 Chemicalbook, and be used in combination with the other two traditional additives to form a three-agent additive system. Under certain conditions, it can also replace the two traditional additives and be used in combination with another traditional additive to form an additive system with only two agents.
Identification test Solubility When the temperature is higher than its melting point, it is soluble in ethanol, methanol, ether, ethyl acetate, aniline, toluene, dioxane, petroleum ether and carbon tetrachloride; it is insoluble in cold water but can be dispersed in warm water. Determined by 0T-42 method. Chemicalbook freezing point 45～47℃. Determined by conventional method. After saponification of 100g sample with alkali, about 37g polyols and 65g fatty acids can be obtained. Determined by the method in "Polyoxyethylene (8) Stearate (10021)".
