Product Description:
Gibberellic (GA3) is relatively stable at lower temperatures and acidic conditions. Gibberellic can be mixed with acidic and neutral fertilizers or pesticides, but cannot be mixed with alkaline fertilizers or pesticides.
Application:
The germination method and dosage of Gibberellic (GA3) depend on the type of seed being treated and the target crop.
1. Gibberellic (GA3) is widely used in agriculture, including but not limited to:
Sweet potato: Soak the potato pieces in gibberellic diluent with a concentration of 10-15 mg/L for 10 minutes, take them out and dry them and then carry out hotbed seedling cultivation. This can break the dormancy period and enable early emergence of seedlings.
Sorghum: Soaking seeds with gibberellic solution at a concentration of 5 to 10 mg/L can promote germination, stimulate hypocotyl elongation and increase dry weight, and significantly advance seedling emergence.
Cotton: Soak seeds with gibberellic solution at a concentration of 20 mg/L for 6 to 8 hours, which can reduce low temperature and other adversities that delay germination or cause seed rot, and promote cotton seed germination.
Tomato: Spray the flowers once with gibberellic solution at a concentration of 30~35 mg/L during the flowering period to increase the fruit setting rate and prevent hollow fruits.
2. Dosage and concentration of Gibberellic (GA3):
Gibberellic (GA3) dosage and concentration vary by crop and application. For example, for celery seeds, you can soak the seeds with 100~200 mg/L gibberellic for 24 hours, remove them and wait for sowing, which can promote the rapid germination of celery seeds.
For other crops such as soybeans, sweet potatoes, sorghum, camellia oleifera, etc., the concentration and dosage of gibberellic are determined according to specific needs. For example, soaking soybeans with 3.5 mg/L gibberellic liquid can speed up the initial germination of spring soybeans.
3. Gibberellic (GA3) germination method:
Prepare seeds and select healthy and undamaged seeds.
Soak the seeds in a solution containing gibberellic, the soaking time and concentration will depend on the specific crop.
After soaking, remove the seeds and clean them.
Treated seeds can be grown by direct planting or seedling raising.
In summary, the germination method and dosage of gibberellic need to be determined according to different seed types and target crops. Specific instructions and precautions should be followed when using.
