Organosilicon compounds and the organosilicon materials obtained from them have many varieties and excellent performance, and have been widely used in industrial and agricultural production, emerging technologies, national defense and military industries. The hydrosilane addition reaction is one of the most important methods to generate Si-C bond in organosilication. Many organosilicone monomers and polymers containing organofunctional groups can be synthesized by hydrosilane addition reaction. Silane coupling agent is a kind of low molecular organosilicone compound with special structure. Its general formula is RSiX3, where R stands for amino group, mercaptovinyl group, epoxy group, chloropropyl group, cyanyl group, methyl acryloxy group and other groups, which have strong reaction ability with different matrix resins, and X stands for the group that can be hydrolyzed. Such as halogens, alkoxy, acyl oxygen and so on. Therefore, the silane coupling agent can interact with both the hydroxyl group in the inorganic substance and the long molecular chain in the organic polymer, so that the two materials with different properties can be coupled together to achieve the purpose of improving the performance of biological materials.
Application:
1.3-(2, 3-epoxy-propoxy) propyl methyl diethoxysilane is mainly used in unsaturated polyester composite materials, which can improve the mechanical properties, electrical properties and light transmission properties of the composite materials, especially the wet properties of the composite materials.
2. The wet mechanical strength and electrical properties of the glass fiber reinforced composite can be improved by treating the glass fiber with (containing the coupling agent).
3. In wire and cable industry, the coupling agent is used to treat the EPDM system filled with clay peroxide crosslinking, improving the consumption factor and specific inductance reactance.
4. 3-(2, 3-epoxy-propoxy) propyl methyldiethoxysilane is copolymerized with vinyl acetate and acrylic acid or methacrylic acid monomers, which are widely used in coatings, adhesives and sealants to provide excellent adhesion and durability.
