Details:

GGTI-298 is a selective geranylgeranyltransferase type I inhibitor that displays little effect on other prenylation enzymes such as farnesyltransferase. GGTI-298 causes G0-G1 cell cycle block and apoptosis in A549 cells (IC50 = 10 μM for A549 cells) and inhibits cell invasion and migration in COLO 320CM cells.
