New cyanide antidote	hydroxycobalamin hydrochloride is a safe, non-toxic, rapid-acting New cyanide antidote, in view of the particularity of cyanide poisoning treatment, the US FDA approved hydroxycobalamin for the treatment of known or suspected cyanide poisoning through the priority review channel on December 15, 2006, hydroxycobalamin hydrochloride became the first emergency medicine approved for cyanide poisoning in the United States. Hydroxycobalamin hydrochloride can quickly complex with cyanide ion in vivo, and the cyanide ion replaces the hydroxyl group coordinated by the cobalt ion in the hydroxycobalamin molecule, A stable, non-toxic product, cyanocobalamin (I. E., VB12), was formed and cleared by urine. Compared with other cyanide antidotes currently in clinical use, the most prominent advantages of hydroxycobalamin hydrochloride are:(1) it can be used for the treatment of suspected cyanide poisoning, so it is particularly suitable for out-of-hospital emergency treatment at the scene of the accident.
