Details:

H-D-Ala-Gln-octadecyl ester also called BCH-527 and it is a lipophilic des-muramyl dipeptide analog. It showed antiviral activity against murine cytomegalovirus and influenza A infections in mice. BCH-527 was stimulatory to cytotoxic T-cells, natural killer cells, macrophages and splenic B cells, but inhibitory at higher doses (200 mg/kg), indicating that it functions as an immunomodulator.
