• Insulin is a double-chain polypeptide hormone secreted by pancreatic β-cells.  

  The α chain and β chain are connected by two inter-chain disulfide bonds, and the α chain contains an intra-chain disulfide bond.    

  Insulin can activate downstream signaling pathways by binding to insulin receptor, including phosphorylation of insulin receptor, phosphorylation of IRS-1, phosphorylation of Akt and phosphorylation of GSK3β, which promote the uptake, utilization and storage of glucose, amino acids and fatty acids in cells.    

  It inhibits the breakdown of glycogen, protein, or fat.  This insulin is a recombinant human insulin, which has the same structure and function as natural human insulin. 

  
   

  The CAS Number of human insulin is 11061-68-0, the molecular formula is C257H383N65O77S6, and the molecular weight is 5807.69.  Human insulin can be used in cultured cells of mammals such as mice and rats, and can also be directly injected into mice or rats for related experimental research.    

  This product is a colorless transparent liquid with a concentration of 1.4mg/ml, which is equivalent to 40IU/ml.  This product is a colorless transparent liquid with a small amount of stabilizers and preservatives.  After sterile filtration and cell culture tested, it can be used directly in cell culture or animal experiments.
