Product Description:
This product is a new type of bifunctional sulfur-containing organosilane, and its chemical name is [bis (triethoxysilyl propyl) disulfide].
This product has a specific sulfur chain distribution. Its emergence has improved the processing defects when tetrasulfide organosilane was applied in the white carbon black - rubber system in the past, enhanced the productivity of the rubber processing industry, and is highly likely to replace tetrasulfide silane.
In the past, polysulfur compounds were prone to desulfurization and the formation of free sulfur during the high-temperature mixing process above 150℃. The appearance of free sulfur led to the vulcanization effect in this high-temperature mixing process, causing the gelation of the rubber mixing system, reducing the rheological properties of the system, and seriously resulting in the decline of processing performance. However, if the mixing temperature is too low, it will lead to incomplete reaction between the silanol groups on the surface of the white carbon black and the silane coupling agent, resulting in insufficient reinforcing effect. Similarly, the dispersion of the white carbon black in rubber is also poor. Moreover, the ethanol generated by the reaction between the silanol groups on the surface of the white carbon black and the silane coupling agent cannot be completely evaporated, and the remaining ethanol will form bubbles during the extrusion process. Therefore, in the past, when using silane coupling agents and white carbon black reinforcement, it was necessary to mix them in multiple steps at 150℃, which inevitably reduced productivity.
The emergence of disulfide silane coupling agents has completely avoided the above deficiencies. Its specific sulfur chain distribution characteristics ensure a certain high-temperature stability of the product and avoid the formation of free sulfur during the desulfurization of polysulfide silane in the high-temperature mixing process. It ensures that the silane coupling agent and white carbon black can fully react at a temperature above 150℃ and simultaneously complete uniform dispersion in rubber without affecting
Impact processing performance. This greatly improves the production efficiency of the processing procedure, and at the same time enables rubber products to obtain excellent properties such as low heat generation and wear resistance.
The excellent physical and chemical properties as well as processing performance of this product not only enhance the physical properties of rubber products but also reduce their production costs.
