3. Applications

Mode of Action

Selective herbicide, absorbed by the hypocotyls and roots. Inhibits germination.

Crops

Artichokes, broccoli, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, cabbages, cauliflower, sweetcorn, garlic, horseradish, kale, leeks, maize, white mustard, onions, peanuts, pome fruits, potatoes, radish, rape, soya beans, stone fruits, strawberries, sugar cane, sunflowers, tobacco and turnips.

Controlling

Uses Pre-emergence and early post-emergence control of winter and annual grasses (Alopecurus myosuroides, Apera spica-venti, Avena fatua, Digitaria sanguinalis, Echinochloa crus-galli, Poa annua and Setaria spp.) and broad-leaved weeds (Amaranthus, Anthemis, Matricaria, Polygonum, Sinapis, Solanum, Stellaria, Urtica and Veronica spp.)

Dosage

1. For rape, soybean, potato, tobacco, cabbage to kill gramineous weeds and dicotyledonous weeds, used before Germination: 1.0-1.5kg a.i./ha.

2. For rape, from early stage of buds to V4 stage: 1.5kg a.i./ha.

Application method

 Applied directly to the soil is not suitable as an aerial spray. It can be applied to all soil types expect sand, very light soils.

If inhaled. If breathed in, move person into fresh air.

If not breathing, give artificial respiration

In case of skin contact, wash off with soap and plenty of water

In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 min.

If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting.

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water.
