Property:
Potassium Asphalt Sulfonate is partially water soluble water dispersible. It acts to aid in stabilizing shale sections, controlling solids dispersion improving wall cakeacteristics. Unlike some other blending gilsonite, it is highly sulfonated by unique process which leads to partially oil soluble as well. This property gives more excellent emulsifyingacteristic. It is also highly resistant to temperature.
Potassium Asphalt Sulfonate stabilizes shale formation by inhibiting disintegration of the shale both chemically physically. It inhibits the dispersion of drilling cuttings, controls high temperature high pressure (HTHP) filtration. It reduces torque drag, prolongs the life of the bit, improves filter cake quality enhances well productivity. It also acts as an emulsifier of diesel oil.
In addition to providing the same unique quality as Sodium Asphalt Sulfonate, Potassium Asphalt Sulfonate contributes water-soluble potassium ions to the mud system. This is beneficiary to those areas that require the specific action of potassium to adequately minimize water-induced clay swelling.
It is a proven extensively used drilling fluid addtive having manyfine properties.Oil asphalt is basal raw material. It appears brown in easly breakable pieces fluidized powder. It is density is 0.98g/cm3.It is parly wa-ter soluble partly oil soluble fevery kind of drilling fluid. The product include two types of high water soluble sodium asphalt sulfonate FT, kalium asphalt sulfonate FT-K.

Storage & Package:
25Kg net,sealed in 3-in-1 compound paper bag with plastic lining. During sotorage transporty see that the bag is intact as the product is water soleble. But its property is not affected even if it becomes damp.
