Applications

CHEMACURE 369 may be used after adequate testing alone or in combination with suitable

coinitiators, such as CHEMACURE 184 and CHEMACURE BDK, for UV curable inks and

varnishes for applications on paper, metal and plastic materials. Its high absorptivity makes it

especially suitable for UV curable inks.

Applications in the graphic arts (e.g. offset and screen inks, printing plates, etc.) and in the

electronics industry (e.g. photoresists, solder masks, etc.) may also be of interest.

The amount of CHEMACURE 369 required for optimum performance should be determined in

trials covering a concentration range.

Recommended concentrations:

offset inks   : 2-4% CHEMACURE 369

screen inks :2-4% CHEMACURE 369 + CHEMACURE 184

pigmented coatings:  1-4% CHEMACURE 369

photopolymers for imaging applications    :0.5-5% CHEMACURE 369

Since your specific use application and conditions of use are beyond UV-Chem Keys control,

you must determine the suitability of the product and the suggestions mentioned herein for

your specific application
