Excess molar volumes of (oxolane + trichloromethane or tetrachloromethane or 1,2-dichloroethane or 1,1,2-trichloroethane or 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane or 1,1,1,2,2-pentachloroethane at 303.15 K are reported. All excess volumes, except that of (oxolane + dichloroethane), are negative and decrease as the number of chlorine atoms in the chloroalkane increases. The results indicate the presence of weak specific interactions in all the mixtures.
