Measurements are reported of the vapour pressures of di-n-hexyl ether + chloroform at 278.68 K. The molar excess Gibbs function obtained from these measurements has been compared with values predicted from the Barker generalized quasi-lattice theory with interaction parameters computed in earlier studies of an ether + chloroform. The results suggest that the Barker theory is of some use in correlating thermodynamic properties of closely related mixtures through a single set of interaction parameters.
