To approach the biodegradable materials close to clinical application, it is worthy and preferable to fabricate polymeric three-dimensional network biomaterials based on Poly(5-[2-{2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethyoxy}-ethoxymethyl]-5-methyl-1,3-dioxa-2-one) (PTMC-MOE3OM). It has been paid attention about the presence of thermal response along biocompatible ester-free TMC derivative as gel form. To achieve adequate mechanical properties, synthetic biodegradable crosslinked agents, (CL) which undergo possessing resembling chemical structures, were introduced. Bis-TMC crosslinkers, 2,2′-bis(trimethylene carbonate-5-yl)-butylether (BTB) and 2,2′-bis(trimethylene carbonate-5-yl)-butaethylene glycol dimethyl ether (BTB-GDE) were subsequently added at least 10% crosslinker. Herein, the novel TMCM-MOE3OM hydrogels were serially prepared and characterized. In Vitro behavior, protein adsorption and platelet adhesion, hydrogel with 10% BTB-GDE cross-linker was considered a highly repelled surface of A3 gel. Obviously, the bulk TMC preparation with low% CL represented the potential hydrogel with sufficient stiffness both compressive and tensile. Regarding the design of degradable polymers, the absence of toxic residue is determined during diverse environments such as lipase, basic and acid.
