The complexation equilibria between CdII and 4-(4′-methyl-2′-thiazolylazo)-2-methyl-resorcinol have been spectrophotometrically studied in an ethanol-water medium (50 : 50, v/v) at I = 0.25 M (NaClO4) and species CdHR2 (logβ112 = 20.38 ± 0.09) and CdH2R2 (logβ122 = 27.00 ± 0.09) are established by a numerical calculation method.
