A series of fluorescent brightening agents containing pyrazolyl or triazolyl groups were synthesized in this work and their structures were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR determination. UV absorption spectrometry was employed to investigate the process of photoisomerizations of some stilbene-derived fluorescent brightening agents. Their fluorescence spectra were also studied and discussed.
