  • 4-acetylphenyl acrylate-glycidyl methacrylate copolymers: synthesis, characterization and reactivity ratios
  • Add time:08/14/2019         Source:sciencedirect.com

Copolymers with various contents of 4-acetylphenyl acrylate and glycidyl methacrylate were prepared in 2-butanone solution using benzoyl peroxide as initiator at 70°. The copolymer compositions were determined by 1H-NMR analysis. The reactivity ratios were calculated by both Fineman-Ross and Kelen-Tüdõs methods. The FT-i.r. and 13C-NMR spectra of the copolymers are discussed. The thermal degradation and the energy of activation of the decomposition process were determined by thermogravimetric analysis.
