In this work, performance analysis and characterization of flat sheet polyamide RO membrane for simultaneous rejection of fluoride and Cr(VI) from Synthetic binary water system were carried. Simultaneous rejection of fluoride and Cr(VI) ions was conducted at different operational conditions. Maximum rejection of fluoride and Cr(VI) was found 94.99% and 99.97% for 5 ppm fluoride-Cr(VI) binary water system at pressure 16 bar and pH 8. Membrane performance was evaluated by CFSK and CFSD models. Estimation of the parameters namely the solute permeability, mass transfer coefficient, reflection coefficient by CFSK model and similarly mass transfer coefficient and solute transport parameter was estimated by CFSD. Good agreement in experimental results and predict results was found with CFSK model compared to CFSD model.
