1.1. Eight amides (amidoesters and triamides) of thiophosphoric acids were synthesized, four of which have not been described in the literature.2.2. The replacement of the alkoxy group by an amido-group in thiophosphoric acid esters increases the antioxidizing activity of compounds; all the amidoesters and triamides of thiophosphoric acids tested inhibit oxidation hydrocarbons to a greater extent than esters free from amido-groups.3.3. The efficiency of amides as antioxidants is influenced by the structure and number of amido-groups; amidoesters containing a monoalkylamido-group, R (H)N-and thiophosphoric acid traimides are the most active.
