Interjectin, isolated from the rhizomes of H. interjecta and H. multiceps, is a diglucoside of a norlignan, nyasicol, plus an additional p-hydroxy cinnamoyl unit. The structure was correlated to that of tetramethylNyasicoside (cas 111518-94-6).
