  • A highly sensitive and fast responsive fluorescent probe for detection of Gold(III) ions based on the AIEgen disaggregation
  • Add time:10/01/2019         Source:sciencedirect.com

A fluorescent probe for gold ion, Au(III), is developed based on Au(III)-induced disaggregation of AIEgen for the first time. Although many contributions have been made to develop fluorescent probes for sensing Au(III), many of them were faced with limitations such as complex mechanism, slow response time, and sophisticated synthetic procedure. In current work, an AIEgen disaggregation based fluorescent probe for Au(III) was simply prepared, and it showed high sensitivity and selectivity with fast response time toward Au(III). Moreover, probe can be utilized to monitor Au(III) in cells as well as paper-based strip for detecting of Au(III).
