2-(Trifluoromethyl)phenothiazine (92-30-8) can be used as Intermediates of Trifluoperazine hydrochloride .

2-(Trifluoromethyl)phenothiazine Production

2-(Trifluoromethyl)phenothiazine (92-30-8) can be produced as following: With 2-carboxy-3-(trifluoromethyl) diphenylamine (synthetic antibacterial agent Montelukast acid) by the high-temperature catalytic decarboxylation (200 ° C, iron powder),  generating 3-(Trifluoromethyl) diphenylamine . Then take the 3-(Trifluoromethyl) diphenylamine heating with sulfur with the participation of  iodine . After the cyclization,can obtain 2-(Trifluoromethyl)phenothiazine (92-30-8).
