Uses of Benzenethiol,2-chloro-4-fluoro-: It can react with 5-bromo-3-methoxy-6-nitro-benzofuran to produce 5-(2-chloro-4-fluoro-phenylsulfanyl)-3-methoxy-6-nitro-benzofuran. This reaction will need reagent t-BuOK, and the menstruum 2-methyl-propan-2-ol. The reaction time is 72 hours with heating, and the yield is about 56%.
