Uses of 2-Dimethylaminoethylamine: It can react with 1,5-dichloro-4,8-dinitro-anthraquinone to produce 1,5-bis[[2-(dimethylamino)ethyl]amino]-4,8-dichloro-9,10-anthracenedione. This reaction will need solvent dioxane. The reaction time is 2 hours with temperature of 50-60°C, and the yield is about 36%.
