Uses of 2-Fluoro-5-methylaniline: it is used to produce other chemicals. For example, it can react with 2-Bromo-3-nitro-benzoic acid to get 2-(2-Fluoro-5-methyl-phenylamino)-3-nitro-benzoic acid. The reaction occurs with reagents Cu, cuprous chloride, N-ethylmorpholine for 18 hours. The yield is 70 %.

2-Fluoro-5-methylaniline can react with 2-Bromo-3-nitro-benzoic acid to get 2-(2-Fluoro-5-methyl-phenylamino)-3-nitro-benzoic acid.
