This reaction needs the reagent of KOH, H2O, and the solvent of methanol. The yield is 91 %. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 12 hours.

Uses of this chemical: The 2,2a,3,4-tetrahydro-azeto[1,2-a]quinolin-1-one could be obtained by the 2-Quinolineacetic acid, 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-.
