Uses of this chemical: The tert-butoxy-triphenyl-silane and Triphenylsilylkalium could be obtained by the Disilane, 1,1,1,2,2,2-hexaphenyl-. This reaction needs the reagent of t-BuOK, and the solvent of tetrahydrofuran. The yield is 30 %. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 24 hours at the temperature of 40 °C.
