Pentadecylamine Specification

1.Reactivity Profile :1-Aminopentadecane neutralizes acids in exothermic reactions to form salts plus water. May be incompatible with isocyanates, halogenated organics, peroxides, phenols (acidic), epoxides, anhydrides, and acid halides. Flammable gaseous hydrogen may be generated in combination with strong reducing agents, such as hydrides.
2.Health Hazard :1-Aminopentadecane is moderately toxic by oral ingestion and highly toxic by inhalation.
3.Fire Hazard :When heated to decomposition,1-Aminopentadecane emits toxic fumes of nitrogen oxides. (Non-Specific -- Alkylamine, n.o.s.) Vapors may travel to a source of ignition and flash back. Container may explode in heat of fire. Vapor explosion hazard indoors, outdoors or in sewers. Runoff to sewer may create fire or explosion hazard.
