Uses of this chemical: The Triethoxy(b-thiocyanatoethyl)silane could be obtained by the reactant of triethoxy-(2-chloro-ethyl)-silane. This reaction needs the catalyst of p-toluene sulfonic acid, and the solvent of ethanol. The yield is 60 %. This reaction should be taken for 8 hours. The other condition is heating.
