Uses of this chemical: The Silane, chlorobis(chloromethyl)methyl- could react with ethylmagnesium bromide, and obtain the Methyl-bis-chlormethyl-ethylsilan. This reaction needs the reagent of diethyl ether. The yield is 89 %. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 3 hours. The other condition is heating.
