Temafloxacin Uses

 Temafloxacin (CAS NO.108319-06-8) is used as antibacterial drugs for lower respiratory tract infections and urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases, skin and soft tissue infections.

Temafloxacin Production

Raw materials :Sodium hydride -->1,2-Dimethoxyethane-->Diethyl carbonate-->2,4-Difluoroaniline-->2,4-Dichloro-5-fluoroacetophenone-->2-Methylpiperazine 
Condensation of 2,4 - Dichloro--5 - Fluoroacetophenone and Diethyl carbonate , then condensation with Triethyl orthoformate , and then, condensation with 2,4 - Difluoro-aniline . Then, reflux and cyclization in Ethylene glycol dimethyl ether in the presence of Sodium hydride . After hydrolysis, condensation with 2 - Methyl-piperazine ,obtaining Temafloxacin (CAS NO.108319-06-8).
