It also can be called Phosphorothioic acid, O,O-diethyl O-2-pyrazinyl ester ; O,O-Diethyl O-pyrazin-2-yl phosphorothioate ; Phosphorothioic acid, O,O-diethyl O-pyrazinyl ester ; and O,O-Diethyl O-pyrazinyl phosphorothioate . It is susceptible to formation of highly toxic and flammable phosphine gas in the presence of strong reducing agents such as hydrides. Partial oxidation by oxidizing agents may result in the release of toxic phosphorus oxides.
