1-bromo-2-[(2-methylphenoxy)methyl]benzene, also known as 2-(2-methylphenoxy)benzyl bromide, is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C14H13BrO. It is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a strong aromatic odor. 1-bromo-2-[(2-methylphenoxy)methyl]benzene is commonly used as an intermediate in organic synthesis and in the production of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and other fine chemicals.
