Preparation of 2,2'-Diaminodiphenyl ether: this chemical can be prepared by bis-(2-nitro-phenyl) ether by heating. This reaction will need reagent hydrazine hydrate and solvent ethanol with the reaction time of 1 hour. This reaction will also need catalyst Pd/C. The yield is about 97%.

Uses of 2,2'-Diaminodiphenyl ether: it can be used to produce N,N'-bis(2-pyridyl)-2,2'-oxybis(aminobenzene) by heating. The reaction time is 30 min. The yield is about 76%.
