Uses of Hydrazine,(2,6-dichlorophenyl)-, hydrochloride (1:1): It can react with 4-acetyl-benzonitrile to produce 4-{1-[(2,6-dichloro-phenyl)-hydrazono]-ethyl}-benzonitrile. This reaction will need reagent ethanol. The reaction time is 1 hour with heating, and the yield is about 87%.
