Gallium sulfide Specification

The Gallium sulfide is an inorganic chemical compound of gallium and sulfur. The IUPAC name of this chemical is digallium trisulfide. With the CAS registry number 12024-10-1, it is also named as Gallium sulphide. It is yellow solid that its normal form as made from the elements has a hexagonal layer structure containing Ga24+ units which have a Ga-Ga distance of 248pm. The metal organic precursors were di-tert-butyl gallium dithiocarbamates, and this was deposited onto GaAs. The structure of the GaS produced in this way is presumably Ga2+ S2-.

The other characteristics of this product can be summarized as: (1)H-Bond Donor: 0; (2)H-Bond Acceptor: 3; (3)Rotatable Bond Count: 0; (4)Exact Mass: 235.766498; (5)MonoIsotopic Mass: 233.767374; (6)Topological Polar Surface Area: 3; (7)Heavy Atom Count: 5; (8)Covalently-Bonded Unit Count: 5.
