Dyhard UR500, CAS#17526-94-2 Substituted urea accelerator 3,3'-(4-Methyl-1,3-phenylene) bis(1,1-dimethylurea);
ProCure 500 is a blocked accelerator which reduces the necessary curing temperature significantly and does not sacrifice the shelf life of the compound.
ProCure 500 is more reactive than ProCure 200 and ProCure 300.
ProCure 500 decomposes under heat to form NCO- (isocyanate-) groups and catalytically active dimethylamine. The dimethylamine accelerates the curing of the epoxy and the isocynates react with epoxies to form additional linkages via oxazolidinones.
In case the system restricts the existance of free Chlorine, please choose ProCure 300 and ProCure 500
