LEADAOX P-EPQ, a highly efficient phosphorus based secondary antioxidant, can reduce the thermo-oxidative degradation of polymers and the development of undesired coloring (yellow) during processing. Main advantages of LEADAOX P-EPQ are its high thermal stability and broad compatibility in coating polymers.
Highly effective processing stabilizer for thermoplastic polymers, especially for polyolefins but also engineering plastics, among them, polycarbonates, polyamides, polyesters. The product stabilizes the polymer melt in a unique manner against thermo-oxidative degradation ensuring constant melt viscosity as well as outstanding color stability, even under the highest thermo-mechanical stress.
Based on its chemical composition, P-EPQ exhibits optimal compatibility with most polymers, so that no migration or chalking problems occur.

Potential Applications

LEADAOX P-EPQ has a wide scope of applications in thermoplastic polymers, particularly suitable for PC, PET, PA, PBT, PS, PP, PE-LLD and EVA substrates etc.
It is preferably used for the stabilization of polyolefins, primarily in combination with phenolic antioxidants such as Antioxidant 1010, with which it forms synergistic systems.

Particularly in polyolefins, produced with newer-generation catalysts, the product is outstandingly effective.
